848. George PHELPS was born about 1605 in Tewksbury, Gloucestershire, England. He died on 8 May 1687 at the age of 82 in Westfield, Hampden Co., MA. Simsbury in parentheses after name -- believe it refers to a location, in that several different people in record have this.

He is labelled George the Emigrant in the Phelps Family section of the Genealogies and Biographies of Ancient Windsor. He emigrated to New England in 1630 and initially settled in Dorchester, MA, granted six acres next to the great lots laid out toward Neponset. He was chosen a freeman in 6 May 1635. He came to Windsor, CT, from Dorchester in the fall of 1635, locating on the second lot south of the Loomis property. Phillury RANDALL and George PHELPS were married in 1637 in Hartford, Hartford Co., CT.

849. Phillury RANDALL was born on 29 April 1618 in England. She died on 29 April 1648 at the age of 30 in Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.102 She was a member of Mr. Warham's church in Dorchester. She emigrated to Dorchester, MA, in 1630 and to Windsor, CT, with her father in 1635.

They had two other children, both of which died young (1647).
