774. Robert BODFISH was born in 1610 in England. He died on 19 November 1651 at the age of 41 in Barnstable, Barnstable Co., MA. Robert Bodfish

Robert Bodfish emigrated from Bromfield, Essex, England and settled for a time in Lynn, Massachusetts. He came to Sandwich in 1637, one of the original proprietors of the town. In the division of meadow lands in 1640, which gave to each proprietor lands according to his "quality and condition," Bodfish was assigned five acres, a little less than an average size lot. IN 1641 he was selected as a surveyor of highways. In 1644 he served on the grand jury, and in the same year he was licensed to operate a tavern in the town of Sandwich.
The Bodfish family moved to Barnstable in 1657. Robert Bodfish died that year leaving his wife, Bridget. Bridget SUGG and Robert BODFISH were married in 1634.

775. Bridget SUGG was born in 1616 in Barnstable, Kent, England. She died in 1658 at the age of 42 in Sandwich, Barnstable Co., MA.
