The family is noted in Hällstad church record AI:2, page 13 and also AI:3, p. 5. They were living at Gammaltorp, Hällstad Parish, Väster Götaland, Sweden, from the birth of son Christoffer in 1766, perhaps before, to that time, both alive in 1810. They were apparently living with their daughter Kjerstin and son-in-law. The book for marriages, 1761-64, is missing. He died of old age at Gammalstorp on 20 Feb 1815 and was buried in Hällstad 26 Feb 1815. He was 78 years, 1 month, 20 days when he died. Olof was a farmer in Gullered parish, according to Kerstin Jonmyren in 2000. But as near as I can determine, he never left Gammalstorp. Did he marry Sara Andersdotter and have a daughter, Ellika? Sara PEHRSDOTTER was born on 3 February 1737 in Hällstad, Väster Götaland (Älvsborg län), Sweden.64 She died on 24 November 1816 at the age of 79 in Hällstad, Väster Götaland (Älvsborg län), Sweden.63 There are a variety of birthdates mentioned for Sara, including 1749, 1733, and 1737 in the household examinations. She was born on 3 February. Her death record says she was 79 years 10 months when she died of old age at Gammeltorp in 1816. That would make the 1737 date most likely.
