His name appears as "Tilford" in son's (Dean K.) marriage record. He is listed as "Gifford" in marriage record of daughter, Laura. Record verifies wife's maiden name (Britton).

Children Henry G., Dean, Charles, and Wealthy were living with his brother Charles, as were Minerva, 11, Ella J., 4, and Eva M. 1.

Cassandra BRITTON, daughter of Zachariah BRITTON and Dolly DOWNING, was born on 20 March 1812 in Easton, Bristol Co., MA. She died on 17 August 1879 at the age of 67 in Norton, Bristol Co., MA.
