1249. Josiah LEONARD²⁸⁴ was born on 23 November 1786 in Ware, MA. He died after 1860 at the age of 74 in Concord, Essex Co., VT. Manning Leonard notes that no further record can be obtained of this family; some of them are said to reside in East Concord, VT. They moved to Vermont after 1829, but before 1840. Thomas and Charles are gone by the 1840 Census.

Josiah LEONARD and Lydia CHILDS were married on 8 November 1814 in Ware, MA. Lydia CHILDS was born in 1787 in Ware, MA. She died after 1860 at the age of 73 in Concord, Essex Co., VT.

Josiah LEONARD and Lydia CHILDS had the following children:

2309	v.	Lydia Lucretta LEONARD²⁸⁴ was born in 1826 in Ware, MA. She died on 20 December 1851 at the age of 25 in Concord, Essex Co., VT.
