2478. Harry Ward LEONARD was born on 8 February 1861 in Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., OH.⁶⁰⁹ He died in 1915 at the age of 54. He was a noted electrical engineer and inventor. He graduated from MIT. He was a close associate of Thomas Edison. At the time he applied for a passport in 1894, he was an electrical engineer and applied in NY. He went by the name H. Ward Leonard. His physical description and his wife's name appear on his 1900 application. In the 1910 Census, he and his wife were living in Eastchester, Westchester Co., NY. It does not appear that they had children.

Harry Ward LEONARD and Caroline GOOD were married on 24 August 1895 in Geneva, Switzerland. Caroline GOOD was born (date unknown).
