918. Moses LEONARD³⁶⁸ was born on 14 April 1805 in Canton, NY. He died on 10 September 1888 at the age of 83 in Pierrepont, St. Lawrence Co., NY. He was "a mighty hunter." From the age of 20 to 75, it is estimated he killed 1500 deer, 300 wolves, 45 panthers, more than 100 bears, and many foxes, otter, and other fur-bearing animals. He had a passion for the Adirondacks and visited them several times a year.

Moses LEONARD and Lucina THORNTON were married on 1 September 1827. Lucina THORNTON was born in Gill, Franklin Co., MA.

Moses LEONARD and Lucina THORNTON had the following children:

1938	i.	Cornelia LEONARD³⁹⁴ was born on 3 February 1829 in Pierrepont, St. Lawrence Co., NY. She died on 7 May 1882 at the age of 53.

Moses LEONARD and Semantha HAMILTON were married on 25 May 1837. Semantha HAMILTON was born in Pierrepont, St. Lawrence Co., NY.

Eliza Ann LEONARD³⁹⁴ was born on 10 January 1840 in Pierrepont, St. Lawrence Co., NY. She died on 10 December 1841 at the age of 1 in Pierrepont, St. Lawrence Co., NY.
