Seventh Generation

1285. Amaziah Hutchinson LEONARD²⁹⁷ was born on 23 September 1788 in Near Binghamton, Broome Co., NY. He died on 20 July 1867 at the age of 78. He was the first white child born in Broome County. He resided on the farm where he was born until his death.

Laurana or Lorana BENNETT, daughter of Silas BENNETT, was born on 19 November 1792 in NY. She died on 10 April 1823 at the age of 30 in Near Binghamton, Broome Co., NY.

Amaziah Hutchinson LEONARD and Laurana or Lorana BENNETT had the following children:

+2359	ii.	Levi LEONARD.
2360	iii.	Juliette LEONARD⁴⁸⁶ was born on 25 March 1819. She died on 6 January 1868 at the age of 48. She married (1) Morris E. Waite and (2) Wilbur Day.
2361	iv.	Carcindania B. LEONARD⁴⁸⁶ was born on 17 January 1822. She married Parley W. Foster and Michael Seabury.
