793. Benjamin Franklin LEONARD was born on 5 June 1825 in Potterstown or Middlesex, Yates Co., NY. He died on 8 October 1884 at the age of 59 in New Buda, IA. He was buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Lamoni, Decatur Co., IA. He was a farmer residing in Spring Prairie and Sugar Creek, WI, and in Fayette and New Buda, Decatur Co., IA. He was an early member of the Mormon Church.

Benjamin Franklin LEONARD and Harriet N. KELLOGG were married on 22 September 1852. Harriet N. KELLOGG, daughter of Enos KELLOGG and Margaret MCALLISTER, died in 1915 in New Buda, IA.

Benjamin Franklin LEONARD and Clarissa Rhoda JOHNSON were married on 10 April 1851. Clarissa Rhoda JOHNSON was born about 1825. She died in December 1851 at the age of 26.
