When the railroad went through and missed the town of Kilbourne by 3 miles, the railroad made a station with a small town laid out around it. Abijah built a warehouse there, and the town of Leonardsburg in Delaware County, OH, was named for him.

2632	vi.	Martha J. LEONARD was born about 1843 in Brown twp., Delaware Co., OH. She died in 1844 at the age of 1 in Brown twp., Delaware Co., OH. She was buried in Kilbourne Cemetery, Delaware Co., OH.
