984. Chapin LEONARD¹⁰² was born on 14 April 1837 in Glover, Orleans Co., VT. He held many town offices in Glover: town clerk, treasurer, tax collector, postmaster. He owned and resided on a farm in Glover Village, but previous to 1890 worked in a general store for over 20 years.

Chapin LEONARD and Harriet S. BEAN were married on 3 September 1861. Harriet S. BEAN, daughter of Amos P. BEAN and Phila SARTWELL, was born (date unknown).

Chapin LEONARD and Harriet S. BEAN had the following children:

2039	i.	Hattie Eudella LEONARD⁴⁰⁵ was born on 30 June 1866 in Glover, Orleans Co., VT. She died on 31 August 1882 at the age of 16 in Glover, Orleans Co., VT.

2041	iii.	Almon Evans LEONARD⁴⁰⁶ was born on 29 March 1873 in Glover, Orleans Co., VT. He lived in Boston, MA. He had an interest in genealogy and was instrumental in collecting information about the descendants of Noah and John Leonard.
