In 1879 or 1880, they moved to Grundy County, IA, where the last three children were born. In 1885 they moved near Glidden, Iowa. In the 1900 Census they were living in Jasper twp., Carroll Co., IA. George was a farmer. Sons Samuel and Charles were farming nearby. George Foster LEONARD and Catharine DIEHL were married on 12 November 1863 in Fostoria, Hancock Co., OH.526 Catharine DIEHL, daughter of Abraham DIEHL and CATHARINE, was born on 24 April 1842 in OH. She died on 29 October 1931 at the age of 89 in Glidden, Carroll Co., IA. She was buried in Westlawn Cemetery, Carroll Co., IA. George Foster LEONARD and Catharine DIEHL had the following children:
