989. Nathan Dean LEONARD⁴⁰⁸ was born on 25 November 1831 in Sheffield, Vermont. He died on 15 March 1887 at the age of 55 in Evansville, Vermont. He resided in Barton, West Charelston, and Evansville, VT. On 15 Aug 1862 he enlisted in Co. D, 3rd Regt. Vermont Infantry Volunteers, was deatiled at headquarters, Sixth Army Corps, as a teamster, where he served until the close of the war. He was discharged June 19, 1865.

Nathan Dean LEONARD and Mary Jane BAILEY were married on 31 May 1854. Mary Jane BAILEY, daughter of Levi J BAILEY and Achsah M. AINSWORTH, was born on 1 December 1836 in Irasburgh, Vermont. She died on 13 October 1907 at the age of 70 in Irasburg, VT.

Nathan Dean LEONARD and Mary Jane BAILEY had the following children:
