985. George Erskine LEONARD⁴⁰⁷ was born on 6 June 1810 in Winchester, NH. He died on 6 July 1890 at the age of 80 in Warren, Grafton Co., NH. They lived in Warren, NH (per 1850, 1860, 1870 Censuses). When but 14, he began driving a team from Barton, VT, to Boston, MA, transporting goods for the merchants, and continued this business until about 1850, when he moved to Warren, NH and engaged in farming. All of the town offices were held by him andin 1882,he was a member of the State Legislature.

George Erskine LEONARD and Mehitable LITTLE were married on 2 May 1841. Mehitable LITTLE, daughter of Benjamin LITTLE and Sally KIMBALL, was born on 29 May 1820 in Warren, Grafton Co., NH. She died on 30 March 1889 at the age of 68 in Warren, Grafton Co., NH.

George Erskine LEONARD and Mehitable LITTLE had the following children:

2045	iv.	Mary D. LEONARD⁴⁰⁷ was born on 1 October 1859 in Warren, Grafton Co., NH. She died on 29 August 1862 at the age of 2 in Warren, Grafton Co., NH.
