595. Cromwell LEONARD³³¹ was born on 4 June 1790 in Pomfret, Windsor Co., VT. He died on 27 January 1867 at the age of 76 in Pomfret, Windsor Co., VT. During the War of 1812, he was in the Army stationed at Plattsburg, NY, for three months. After his marriage, he worked for some years as a carpenter and later took up farming. He taught school for 18 winters.

In the 1860 Census, he was a farmer living in Pomfret, Vermont, with daughters Mary and Sarah.

Cromwell LEONARD and Eunice PERKINS were married on 21 December 1815 in Pomfret, Windsor Co., VT. Eunice PERKINS, daughter of Joel PERKINS and Eunice FULLER, was born about 1795. She died on 18 March 1856 at the age of 61 in Pomfret, Windsor Co., VT.

Cromwell LEONARD and Eunice PERKINS had the following children:

1420	i.	Mary A. LEONARD³³¹ was born on 22 December 1816 in Pomfret, Windsor Co., VT. She died on 4 December 1874 at the age of 57 in Pomfret, Windsor Co., VT.
1421	ii.	Julia A. LEONARD³³¹ was born on 6 November 1820 in Pomfret, Windsor Co., VT. She died on 4 December 1847 at the age of 27 in Pomfret, Windsor Co., VT.
1422	iii.	Sarah A. LEONARD³³¹ was born on 5 July 1825 in Pomfret, Windsor Co., VT.
