1490. Joseph LEONARD was born on 30 March 1805 in Pennsylvania. He died on 24 August 1867 at the age of 62 in Brown twp, Delaware Co., OH.⁵²² He was buried in Old Eden Cemetery, Kilbourne, Delaware Co., OH. He married three times. He had no children by Jane Cruikshank. Avery is working on straightening this out.

In the 1850 Census, the family was living in Brown twp., Delaware Co., OH. Joseph was a farmer with land valued at $3000.

Joseph LEONARD and Nancy LONGWELL were married on 6 February 1825 in Marion Co., OH. Nancy LONGWELL, daughter of James LONGWELL and Nellie SLACK, was born on 28 May 1805 in Mason Co., KY. She was born on 28 May 1806 in Mason Co., KY. She died on 9 October 1848 at the age of 42 in Eden, Brown twp., Delaware Co., OH. Nancy was buried in Old Eden Cemetery, Kilbourne, Delaware Co., OH.

Joseph LEONARD and Jane CRUIKSHANK were married on 24 October 1867 in Marion Co., OH. Jane CRUIKSHANK was born on 2 June 1811 in NY. She died on 20 March 1863 at the age of 51 in Delaware Co., OH. There's confusion as to whether this Joseph married Nancy Longwell or Jane Cruikshank. The 1850 Census has Joseph, Jane, and the listed children living in Brown twp, Delaware Co., OH. Doublecheck!
