1511. Christopher Columbus LEONARD³¹ was born on 2 July 1841 in Canaan township, Morrow Co., OH. He died on 16 July 1917 at the age of 76 in Morrow Co., OH. He was a private in the 15th Ohio Volunteer Infantry during the Civil War.

He and Dorcas were wed at the home of Hugh Montgomery at Greene Co., PA, according to the descendants of Esther Leonard Heer, who traced the genealogy of this family.

Christopher Columbus LEONARD and Dorcas Louisa HOPKINS were married on 25 December 1877 in Morgan township, Greene Co., PA. Dorcas Louisa HOPKINS was born on 3 September 1850 in Canaan township, Morrow Co., OH. She died on 21 May 1893 at the age of 42 in Morrow Co., OH.

Christopher Columbus LEONARD and Dorcas Louisa HOPKINS had the following children:
