1110. Orrin Wheeler LEONARD²⁴⁵ was born on 16 August 1826 in Ashtabula, Ashtabula Co., OH. He died on 27 June 1904 at the age of 77 in Tuscola Co., MI. He was brought up on a farm and made permanently lame by a fever sore caused by taking cold while washing sheep. He engaged in merchantile business, first in Ohio where he is listed as a 23-year-old shoemaker in the 1850 Census, then in Taylor, NY from 1861 to 1866, when he removed to Earlville, NY and remained until 1884, when he removed to Watrousville, MI. He was appointed postmaster there in 1889 by Pres. Harrison.

Orrin Wheeler LEONARD and Polly WEBB were married on 1 January 1850. Polly WEBB was born on 24 March 1829 in Lawrence Co., IL. She died on 27 April 1851 at the age of 22.

Orrin Wheeler LEONARD and Louisa A. BISBEE were married on 4 July 1855. Louisa A. BISBEE was born on 13 November 1833 in Springfield, VT.

Orrin Wheeler LEONARD and Louisa A. BISBEE had the following children:
