Milton N. COWLES was born on 28 April 1840. He died on 25 February 1887 at the age of 46 in Carlyle, Arkansas. He was a soldier in the Union Army in the Civil War; was engaged in the battle of Gettysburg, was one of the sufferers at Libby Prison.
