48. Jonas LEONARD⁴³ was born on 19 October 1717 in Marlborough, Middlesex Co., MA. He died on 13 October 1757 at the age of 39 in Boston, Suffolk Co., MA. In 1739, his father deed him 101 acres in Rutland, calling him a cordwainer. Later, he removed to Boston, where he kept the Lamb Tavern.

He was guardian of Eunice, Elizabeth and James Barber, minor children of Hezekiah Barber, blacksmith. It is not known whether he had any children of his own.

Jonas LEONARD and Eunice BARBER were married on 21 February 1745. Eunice BARBER was born (date unknown).
