122. Daniel LEONARD⁴⁰ was born on 3 December 1753 in Preston, New London Co., CT. He died in 1804 at the age of 51. He was a soldier in the Revolutionary War, a seargeant in Capt. Isaac Marsh's Company, Col. Sears' regiment.

Soon after his marriage, he bought a farm in Norwich, MA, in a part of the town called Goff's Hill, now part of the town of Huntington, where he resided until his death.

Daniel LEONARD and Mary STARKWEATHER were married on 6 October 1774 in Preston, New London Co., CT.⁸⁷ Mary STARKWEATHER, daughter of Samuel STARKWEATHER and Sarah PURPLE, was born on 16 February 1759 in Preston, New London Co., CT. She died in December 1833 at the age of 74 in Meadville, PA. After the death of her husband, she went to live with her son Lodawick Alanson Leonard in Meadville, PA and died at his home.
