117. Ebenezer LEONARD⁴⁰ was born on 1 July 1741 in Preston, New London Co., CT. He died on 19 August 1815 at the age of 74 in Worthington, Hampshire Co., MA. He was buried in Leonard Cemetery, Bethel Road, Griswold, CT. Note: There were several Ebenezer Leonards in Preston at this time, and ECL admits to not being able to untangle which was which. At least one was of the James Leonard line (son of Nicholas), while the others were of the Solomon Leonard line. Please check them very carefully if this is your ancestral line.

Ebenezer LEONARD and Elizabeth MARSH were married about 1772 in Preston, New London Co., CT. Elizabeth MARSH was born about 1745.

Ebenezer LEONARD and Abigail AVERY were married on 25 September 1765 in Preston (now Griswold), New London Co., CT. Abigail AVERY was born on 11 October 1748 in Groton, New London Co., CT.
