Sarah Hoar LEONARD and David MERIWETHER were married on 22 February 1822. David MERIWETHER, son of William MERIWETHER and Elizabeth WINSLOW, was born in 1800 in Louisa, Louisa Co., VA. He died in 1893 at the age of 93 in Hayfield, Jefferson Co., KY. He was successor to Henry Clay in the US Senate. They had 14 children.
