24. Jacob LEONARD was born in 1824 in Morris County, NJ.³ He died in 1912 at the age of 88. In the 1850 Census, Jacob and Margaret and their two children were living next to his brother Silas in Morris, Morris Co., NJ. In the 1900 Census, Jacob was a widower living with his son William and two daughters, Lillie and Caroline.

According to O. B. Leonard in "Stephen Banks Leonard," Jacob and Margaret had 9 children.

Jacob LEONARD and Margaret JONES were married on 19 October 1847. Margaret JONES was born in 1830. She died in 1872 at the age of 42.

Jacob LEONARD and Margaret JONES had the following children:

60	x.	Jacob LEONARD was born about 1855 in Passaic, Morris County, NJ.
61	xi.	Arthur LEONARD was born about 1858 in Passaic, Morris County, NJ.
