He was probably a descendant of this family. Silas P. LEONARD and Sarah M. LEESON were married on 19 October 1847 in Passaic, Morris County, NJ. Sarah M. LEESON was born on 4 January 1830 in Morris Co., NJ. She died on 5 December 1891 at the age of 61 in Passaic, Morris County, NJ. Silas P. LEONARD and Sarah M. LEESON had the following children:
