In the 1880 Taunton Directory, he is listed as a machinist with a house at 27 High. Another Lewis E. Leonard is a farmer with a house at Tremont, near Rehoboth line.

Lewis Everett LEONARD and Frances A. LORD were married on 26 August 1866. Frances A. LORD was born in 1848.
