6969. Leroy Emery LEONARD4230 was born on 29 September 1887 in Taunton, Bristol Co., MA. He died on 8 July 1959 at the age of 71 in Portland, ME. He was buried at Forest City Cemetery in Portland, ME. He came to Portland as a boy and graduated from Deering High School. He worked as chief of tariffs for the Maine Central Railroad for 30 years and resigned from that post to become grand secretary for the Grand Lodge of Maine, IOOF, for 25 years. He served as choir director for several local churches. He was also a member of the Portland Men's Singing Club and the Knickerbocker Male Quartet.

Leroy Emery LEONARD and Caroline Augustus YORK were married on 7 March 1907 in ME. Caroline Augustus YORK was born on 7 December 1890 in ME. She died on 22 October 1974 at the age of 83 in ME.

Carroll Emery LEONARD was born on 26 December 1908 in South Portland, ME. He died on 18 June 1978 at the age of 69 in Portland, ME. He was buried at Woodlawn Cemetery in Westbrook, ME. During the Depression, they lived on Peaks Island, ME. After World War II, they lived in Portland, ME, where Carroll worked for the Main Central Railroad for 25 years until retiring in 1970. Carroll was active in sports, particularly baseball.
