2213. Capen LEONARD²¹⁸⁷ was born on 22 September 1808 in Pittsford, Rutland Co., VT. He died in 1894 at the age of 86 in VT. He was a State Senator in VT. He was prominent in his town and held every office at one time or another.

In the 1870 Census, he was a farmer living in Andover, Windsor Co., VT, with his wife Mary A. There was a Thomas and Hannah Leonard about the same age living nearby. If they had any children, they don't show in the censuses.

Capen LEONARD and Mary Ann DIKE were married on 26 November 1832 in VT. Mary Ann DIKE, daughter of Gideon DIKE and Bethia GIBBS, was born on 24 January 1812 in Chittenden, Rutland Co., VT.
