2207. Isaac LEONARD²¹⁷⁴ was born on 24 August 1800 in Chittenden, Rutland Co., VT. Or was he both on 8 Aug? He died before 1883 at the age of 83 in prob. Grand Rapids, MI. He settled in Grand Rapids, MI. In the 1860 Census, he was a master mason living in Grand Rapids. The children may be mixed up. 1859 Census shows a Betsey, 19 (b. 1831) and Julius, 27 (b. 1823), also a mason, living with him. Also, the James Simmonds family was living with them. Was Relief Simmonds, 25 (b. 1825) a daughter of Isaac? Were Charles, Isaac, Elizabeth, and R. E children of Isaac or members of the Simmonds family?

Isaac LEONARD and Esther Segar WERE were married about 1820. Esther Segar WERE was born on 7 May 1803 in Pittsford, VT. She died on 5 January 1872 at the age of 68 in Grand Rapids, Kent Co., MI.
