1777. John Milton LEONARD^1876,1877 was born on 1 January 1808 in Oakham, MA. He died on 21 March 1886 at the age of 78 in Detroit, Wayne Co., MI. He lived at Burlington, MI. He is #486 in Solomon Leonard Genealogy (p. 112 and p. 192). He lived in Royalton, Ohio, Addison, NY, and Burlington, MI. He was a physician.

John Milton LEONARD and Lovinia or Louisa SKIFF were married about 1830. Lovinia or Louisa SKIFF died on 22 November 1833 in Massachusetts. She was the adopted daughter of Oliver Edgarton of Hawley, MA. Ref. letter 1898 by R.F. Skiff to E. A. Perkins. Letter may be at the Old Colony Historical Society.

John Milton LEONARD and Lovinia or Louisa SKIFF had the following children:

3346	i.	Mary Ann LEONARD¹⁸⁷⁸ was born in 1830. She died on 1 November 1833 at the age of 3.
3347	ii.	Erasmus Darwin LEONARD¹⁸⁷⁹ was born on 16 November 1832. Last heard of at Honolulu, Hawaii, in 1866. He is no. 1045 in the Solomon Leonard Genealogy (p. 192).

John Milton LEONARD and Mary "Polly" WILBUR were married on 22 April 1835. Mary "Polly" WILBUR, daughter of Samuel WILBUR and Betsey E. SMITH, was born in 1817 in Hopewell, Ontario Co., NY. She died in 1897 at the age of 80 in MI. She was also known as Polly Wilbur.
