Eighth Generation

3201. Cornelius H. LEONARD was born on 7 October 1844. He died on 16 February 1920 at the age of 75 in Middleborough, Plymouth Co, MA. In the 1880 Census, Cornelius was living with his wife and two daughters in Middleborough, where he was a shoemaker. His parents, Abiathar and Alice, were living in the same household with them.

"The firm of Leonard, Shaw & Dean, consisting of Cornelius H. Leonard, Samuel Shaw, and W. H. Dean of Quincy began business in 1895 and erected a factory on Peirce Street (Middleboro), employing about one hundred men." Weston, "History of the Town of Middleboro," p. 297.

Cornelius H. LEONARD and Sybil A. WASHBURN were married on 13 August 1868. Sybil A. WASHBURN was born on 23 June 1847. She died on 14 October 1934 at the age of 87.

Cornelius H. LEONARD and Sybil A. WASHBURN had the following children:

5072	i.	Lizzie C. LEONARD²⁹⁰³ was born on 8 March 1878. She died in 1888 at the age of 10.
