2694. Abner LEONARD^2508,2509 was born on 23 August 1807 in Middleborough, Plymouth Co, MA.²⁵¹⁰ He died on 2 June 1890 at the age of 82 in Providence, RI. Marriage and children from Eaton Genealogy, p. 443. Also CD 23, Pilgrim Genealogies. In the 1850 Census, the family was living in Plymouth, MA, next to a Morton family and Abner was a nailor.

Abner LEONARD and Zilpha MORTON were married on 22 September 1830. Zilpha MORTON, daughter of Ephraim MORTON and Sally HOWLAND, was born about 1807 in MA. She died in 1877 at the age of 70 in Plymouth, Plymouth Co., MA.²⁵¹¹

Abner LEONARD and Zilpha MORTON had the following children:

4470	i.	Clarinda LEONARD²⁵¹² was born on 28 July 1831. She died on 20 July 1834 at the age of 2.
4471	ii.	Betsy M. LEONARD²⁵¹³ was born on 14 March 1833 in Plymouth, Plymouth Co., MA. She died on 13 January 1910 at the age of 76. She died unmarried.
4472	iii.	Eliza A. LEONARD²⁵¹⁴ was born in 1834 in Plymouth, Plymouth Co., MA. She died on 10 July 1854 at the age of 20 in Plymouth, Plymouth Co., MA. She died of brain fever.
4473	iv.	Abner LEONARD²⁵¹⁵ was born on 13 March 1837 in Plymouth, Plymouth Co., MA. He died in November 1837 at the age of 0.
