He was single, a soldier with the 40th Mass Infantry Regiment and a resident of Raynham. Cause of death was not recorded. He was born to George and Serana R Leonard. George was born in Taunton, MA. The nativity of Charles and his mother was not recorded." Place of death was Cold Harbor, date 1 Jun 1864.
