He could walk a mile easily at 93 years." Daniel LEONARD and Isabel Maria PLACE were married on 26 October 1825 in Ashford, CT.851 Isabel Maria PLACE, daughter of Stafford PLACE and Mary SPENCER, was born on 25 March 1803 in East Greenwich, Kent, RI. She died on 7 September 1859 at the age of 56 in Putnam, Windham Co., CT. She was buried in North Ashford Cemetery, Eastford, Windham Co, CT. She was living in Ashford, CT, with her brother, Thomas, about the time of her marriage to Daniel (see article in The American Genealogist, vol. 46).
