Deborah DEAN and Joseph ALLEN were married on 25 November 1736. Joseph ALLEN, son of Benjamin ALLEN and Hopestill LEONARD, was born on 25 May 1690 in Rehoboth, Bristol Co., MA. Joseph Allen was a grandson of Rice Leonard of Rehoboth through his mother, Hopestill Leonard. Rice Leonard had no surviving male descendants. Whether he was related to James Leonard is unknown.
