1488. Capt. Phineas LEONARD1618 was born about 1774 in Canton, Norfolk Co., MA. He died on 4 September 1821 at the age of 47 in Westminister, MA. He went to Westminster in the late 1700's and operated a forge there near Wachusettville with his brother Enoch. He sold the forge in 1812 and thereafter operated a saw mill until his death. Apparently he died insolvent, as his children became public charges.

Without dates of birth or other source information, it's hard to know to which wife the children belong.

Capt. Phineas LEONARD and Nancy BUSSEY were married on 25 March 1804. Nancy BUSSEY died in 1812.

Capt. Phineas LEONARD and Eunice GIBBS were married on 21 September 1812 in Westminister, MA.399 Eunice GIBBS was born in Westminister, MA.
