2827. George F. LEONARD²⁶⁶⁸ was born on 13 August 1830 in Taunton, Bristol Co., MA. He died on 8 January 1872 at the age of 41. He was a grocer at the time he enlisted in the Army 13 May 1864. In the 1870 Census, they were living in Taunton, and Emily's mother was living with them. He later committed suicide. It appears they had no children.

George F. LEONARD and Emily P. STALL were married on 23 March 1862. Emily P. STALL, daughter of Isaac STALL and Charlotte M. , was born in 1828 in Newport, Newport Co., RI.
