247. Capt. Ichabod LEONARD³⁴⁵ was born in 1729 in Taunton, Bristol Co., MA. He died on 7 February 1810 at the age of 81 in Taunton, Bristol Co., MA.¹⁰ Was this Ichabod Leonard the same as the one born in 1729 who m. Sybil Burt? He was a captain in the militia in the Revolutionary War. His (6th Taunton?) company was part of Col. John Hathaway's regiment. In April 1777 the company marched from Taunton to Tiverton, RI. In August 1780, his company was part of Col. Abial Mitchel's regiment, Brigadier General Godfrey's Bristol Co. brigade, 8 days on the alarm of 1 August 1780.

His will names his children, except for Perez.

Capt. Ichabod LEONARD and Sybil BURT were married on 11 December 1763 in Taunton, Bristol Co., MA.³⁴⁶ Sybil BURT³⁴⁷ was born in 1736 in Swansea, Bristol Co., MA. She died on 11 August 1827 at the age of 91 in Taunton, Bristol Co., MA.³⁴⁸
