794. Daniel LEONARD⁹⁷² was born on 4 September 1798 in Dover, VT. He died on 11 February 1862 at the age of 63 in Dover, VT. He was a prominent citizen and served the town in various offices, including that of selectman. He was a Free-Will Baptist preacher, also a physician and surgeon. He also carried on a farm. Dover was originally known as Dummerstown.

In the 1850 Census, the family was living in Dover.

Daniel LEONARD and Sally "Sady" MANN were married in 1817. Sally "Sady" MANN, daughter of James MANN, was born on 4 September 1798. She died on 11 February 1854 at the age of 55 in Dover, VT.

1748	iii.	Clark LEONARD⁹⁷³ was born on 30 May 1822 in Dover, VT. He died on 3 July 1847 at the age of 25 in Great Barrington, Berkshire, Co., MA. There was another Clark Leonard who d. 23 Apr 1897 at Gaines, Orleans Co., NY (of Ephraim Leonard family).
