Mr. Leonard numbers among his intimate friends the highest dignitaries of the Church, of the State and City, and as a businessman of Providence said recently to the writer, "We have no more highly respected and esteemed cityizen in our community than Mr. George C. Leonard; he is what we call a one hundred per cent man, and there are very few of them. In all walks of lif, from the Governor down the social scale to a humble truck driver there is always a word of cordial greeting for Mr. Leonard as he walks along our thoroughfares."
