Uriah drops out of the Canton District tax list in 1739. He appears in Sharon in 1747 and stays there until 1751 and then disappears entirely. Taunton records show the death of Elizabeth, wife of Uriah, November 6, 1775. Uriah LEONARD and Elizabeth FARLEY were married on 9 September 1736 in Billerica, MA. Elizabeth FARLEY128, daughter of Timothy FARLEY and Elizabeth SHEDD, was born on 17 October 1711 in Billerica, MA. She died on 6 November 1775 at the age of 64 in Taunton, Bristol Co., MA. She was buried in Stoney Plain Cemetery, Taunton, MA. Uriah and Elizabeth Leonard were ordered to appear at Cambridge March 19, 1743, in regard to the administration of the probate of Timothy Farley. Hazen in History of Billerica states that she married Jerathmell Bowers Jr. at Billerica March 17, 1735/6, but that seems wrong, given the probate case of her father.
