206. Edmund LEONARD307 was born in 1722 in Raynham, Bristol Co., MA. He died Church of Christ member on 31 December 1803 at the age of 81 in Raynham, Bristol Co., MA.47 Edmund Leonard appointed guardian of Mary Leonard, minor above age 14, daughter of Joseph Jones late of Raynham 6 Feb 1750/51.

The 1790 Census lists an Edmund Leonard household in Raynham consisting of 2 males over 16 and 2 females.

Was Solomon a son of Edmund or a son of Zephaniah? ECL lists Solomon as a son of Edmund and as no. 313, but Raynham VR's list Solomon as a son of Zephaniah. He and descendants are listed under Zephaniah in this on-line version.

The Old Colony Historical Society says Gabriel Fecto married Hannah, daughter of Seth and Dorcas Leonard, and that the Bethiah who married Stanley Carter was the daughter of Seth and Dorcas, but in the settlement of the estate of Seth, b. 1758, there is mention of Hannah Fecto and Solomon.

Edmund Leonard apparently shoed horses, according to Elijah Leonard's account books in the 1750's from the ironworks.

Edmund LEONARD and Mary JONES were married on 9 February 1748 in Raynham, Bristol Co., MA.47 Mary JONES, daughter of Joseph JONES, was born on 15 December 1730 in Raynham, Bristol Co., MA. She died on 21 February 1774 at the age of 43 in Raynham, Bristol Co., MA.167

Dorcas LEONARD47,308 was born on 31 March 1751 in Raynham, Bristol Co., MA.47 She died on 14 November 1752 at the age of 1 in Raynham, Bristol Co., MA.309 She was buried in Raynham Central Burying Ground, Raynham, MA.60 The Dorcas Leonard who was buried in Raynham is supposedly the daughter of Nathaniel and Mary and was born in 1731.

Seth LEONARD47,310 was born on 5 May 1752 in Raynham, Bristol Co., MA.311 He died on 20 October 1821 at the age of 69 in Raynham, Bristol Co., MA.312 ECL: He was a Revolutionary War pensioner. He was found dead in his house with the door locked. He died unmarried. His Revolutionary War pension file does not mention his parents, wife, children, or any relatives. He gives an accounting of his property and his debts and says: "My family consists of myself alone, aged sixty eight years, common laborer, able to perform not more than half a day's work in a day, and about half support myself." He signed with a mark; someone else supplied his signature. Seth Washburn, Daniel Woodward, and Asa White supplied testimonials in his behalf to Nahum Mitchell, Judge.
