Esates filed at Morristown, NJ 1785-1907, abstracted by Virginia Alleman Brown, 1984.

David's will mentions only wife Sarah.

Did he marry one of the Goble daughters? Two of them, Mary and Sarah, daughters of Stephen or Daniel Goble, married Leonards in Morris County around 1750. Daniel Goble's will mentions a Sary Leonard. A Goble descendant has the Leonard y-dna haplogroup and pattern. An adoption?

There was another David Leonard who married Phebe Ward. Was this David his son? Some family trees have this David Leonard married to Mary Hall. His will, division of lands, and other records don't support this.
