221. Ensign Elijah DEAN²³⁴ was born in 1701. He died on 29 April 1750 at the age of 49 in Raynham, Bristol Co., MA. Elijah was the brother of Mary Dean, who married James Dean, son of Uriah. Elijah and Sophia had four children: Susannah, Jerusha, Elijah, and Samuel, all born in the 1740's.

Ensign Elijah DEAN and Sophia LEONARD were married on 2 June 1742 in Raynham, Bristol Co., MA. Sophia LEONARD, daughter of Samuel LEONARD and Katherine DEAN, was born on 9 March 1717 in Raynham, Bristol Co., MA. She died on 3 July 1762 at the age of 45 in Raynham, Bristol Co., MA.
