103. Abigail LEONARD52 was born on 16 December 1703 in Norton, Bristol Co., MA.53 She died on 18 September 1789 at the age of 85 in Waltham, MA. Receipt dtd 20 August 1730 at Watertown by Warham Williams and Abigail Williams of Watertown for legacy from estate of her father Major George Leonard of Norton, as paid by her mother Anna Leonard of Norton. Mentions sisters Anna Leonard and Marcy Leonard, both deceased and honored grandmother Mary Leonard of Taunton, deceased. Abigail was a Mayflower descendant through her mother.

ECL: She died of cancer.

Abigail LEONARD and Rev. Warham WILLIAMS were married on 23 May 1728. Rev. Warham WILLIAMS, son of John WILLIAMS and Eunice MATHER, was born on 16 September 1699 in Deerfield, MA. He died on 22 June 1751 at the age of 51 in Waltham, MA. ECL: He was a classmate of Nathaniel at Harvard, Clas of 1719 and was ordained in 1723. When Warham was four years old, he and his family were taken captive by Indians in a raid on Deerfield and held captive in Canada for three years, a tale told by his father in "The Redeemed Captive."
