2556. Charles Frederick LEONARD¹³⁹⁷ was born on 1 November 1804 in Bristol, RI. He died on 31 March 1884 at the age of 79 in Mt. Vernon, IN. When he was quite young, his father moved the family to Laconia, IN, where the father soon died. Charles remained there until 1836, when he removed to Mt. Vernon, IN.

Charles Frederick LEONARD and Lucretia KNOWLES were married on 27 August 1833. Lucretia KNOWLES was born on 14 January 1817. She died on 12 August 1852 at the age of 35. She died of cholera.

4319	vii.	Laura Cornelia LEONARD²⁴²³ was born on 17 January 1850 in Mt. Vernon, IN. She died on 28 February 1861 at the age of 11 in Mt. Vernon, IN.
4320	viii.	William Parke LEONARD²⁴²³ was born on 15 February 1852 in Mt. Vernon, IN. He resided in Evansville, IN, where he engaged in the real estate and pension businesses. He wrote the "History of Posey County." He went to Oakland, CA.
