Stephen Rose LEONARD and Dorothy Noyes BARRON were married on 24 October 1899 in Kenwood, NY. Dorothy Noyes BARRON, daughter of John Humphrey NOYES and Beulah HENDEE, was born about 1877 in CT. Dorothy Barron was the daughter of John Humphrey Noyes, leader of the Oneida Community, was named "Jennie Wren" at birth, later named Dorothea Noyes, She was finally named Dorothy Barron when her mother, Beulah Hendee, married Alfred Barron, who adopted her. This occurred when the Oneida Colony broke up.
