507. Hannah COBB was born on 1 October 1729 in Attleborough, Bristol Co., MA. She died in September 1817 at the age of 87 in Machias, Washington Co., ME.

Hannah COBB and Rev. Josiah CROCKER were married on 6 November 1751. Rev. Josiah CROCKER647, son of Josiah CROCKER and Desire THACHER, was born on 30 October 1719 in Yarmouth or Barnstable, Barnstable Co., MA. He died on 28 August 1774 at the age of 54 in Taunton, Bristol Co., MA. From Thacher/Thatcher Genealogy, p. 252: "Rev. Josiah Crocker was the friend of Whitfield and in some traits resembled him. At the early age of 15 he entered Harvard College and was ordained at the age of 23. He was of an ardent temperment; zealous and earnest, yet tender and persuasive in his matter. Like other zealous men, he was not always cautious in his expressions. He had many warm friends and some enemies. His granddaughter Hannah M. Crocker was the author of the "Rights of Woman," published in 1818."
