5791. George Milton LEONARD2264 was born on 26 December 1863 in Goblesville, MI. He died on 22 October 1931 at the age of 67 in Portland, Multinomah Co., OR. He was buried in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. George went to school in Nebraska, became a country teacher, and later became a professor at Western Union College in La Mars, IA. In 1908 he went to Broadview, Montana, to homestead and become a teacher, real estate broker, and newspaper co-owner. George moved his family to Missoula, MT, in 1921, where his children, Ralph and Elmira Pearl went to school. He raised wheat on the farm, but sold insurance and took extension courses while in Missoula. They lived on 6th Street near the University of Montana. He moved to Oregon in 1930.

George Milton LEONARD and Cora May SCOTT were married on 2 December 1894 in Leonard Homestead, Wood River, NE. Cora May SCOTT2264, daughter of Samuel SCOTT and Harriet BURLEY, was born on 10 August 1876 in Braddyville, IA. She died on 22 September 1973 at the age of 97 in Emmett, ID. She was buried in Oregon Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, Portland, OR.
