2878. Spencer Henry LEONARD²⁷²¹ was born on 8 August 1822 in Andover, Windsor Co.,VT. He died on 18 April 1887 at the age of 64 in Chester, VT. He attended the public schools in his native town and became a manufacturer of boots and shoes ther. He continued in business actively to the time of his death. In religion he was a Congregationalist.

Hannah Maria LOCKE, daughter of Oren LOCKE and Catherine TYLER, was born on 6 August 1828 in Rockingham, VT.

Spencer Henry LEONARD and Hannah Maria LOCKE had the following children:
